The building boasts prestigious Plattenbau architecture, and was one of the last built in the former East Germany. Breakfast is available at the on-site Austrian Cafe, which overlooks the River Spree. Guests can dine in the famous Grill Royal restaurant with summer terrace, located within the same building as Riverside City Hotel. Trains, trams and buses run from Friedrichstrasse Station, 300 metres away. From here, guests can reach Alexanderplatz and the Brandenburg Gate in just 5 minutes. Bicycles tours run from directly outside the hotel, and bikes can be rented at the Riverside City.
