Hajdúszoboszló is known as „Mecca of rheumatics“, but also diseases of locomotive organs, chronical diseases from wear out, accidents, fractures, post-operation therapy, some skin diseases and women’s diseases are also treted here. Guests can choose from a variety of relaxation/wellness stays as well as curative stays. This spa resort is situated in the eastern part of Hungary on the periphery of the famous puszty or Big lowland only 21 km from the second biggest town in the country, Debrecen. Also this spa was discovered by accident while looking for oil in this area in 1925. Nowadays it has about 35 000 citizens and belongs with its 1 million visitors every year to the most popular destiantions in Hungary. The guests can use 19 indoor and outdoor swimming pools in the spa. Popular area for tourist trips is hortobad puszta with unique fauna and flora (national park, the largest protected area in the country). Only 20 minutes far from here by car is Debrecen, the oldest education center in the country as well as center of the hungarian reformation. This town also offers many historical and cultural sights and is home for many cultural events, which take place here every year. Curative procedures are prescribed after complex medical examination. Medical check-ups (general, rheumatological, internal, dental), massages (curative, refreshing, reflex), curative gymnastics (individual, group, underwater or in a gym), balneotherapy (traction, mud wrappings, tangentor, whirlpool, carbonic bath), physiotherapy (Tens, kryotherapy, galvanic bath, electrobath, ultrasound, etc.), salt therapy, spectral therapy. Hotel offers 142 rooms, 6 of them are suitable also for handicapped guests. All rooms are air-conditioned and have a bathroom with bath tub, telephone, internet connection, minibar, SAT-TV and safe. Guests with allergies can be accomodated in 6 rooms with parquetry on the floor. There are smoking as well as non-smoking rooms and most rooms are with balcony or loggia. Air-conditioned restaurant with seasonal patio serves buffet breakfast or dishes a la carte from hungarian or international cuisine as well as diet dishes on request. There is also a drinkbar in the hotel hall. Hotel’s vital center includes a swimming pool (9 m), whirlpool, sauna, or steam bath. Spa center includes fitness room, solarium, gym, tretment with Dermalife spa&wellness cosmetics, swimming pools open from May to September, whirlpool and wave pool, vital pool, pool for children, coastal shore and Aquapark. The price of a curative stay includes full board, initial and leaving medical examination, curative procedures according to the doctor’s suggestions in the average of 3 per day (except for Sundays and Hollidays). Minimum lenght of stay is 6 nights. The price of a relaxation stay includes accomodation, half board, and 1 relaxation procedure per day. The price of accomodation includes accomodation with breakfast.
